Dr. Semra Demircioğlu graduated with honors from the English Economics program at Marmara University, subsequently serving as an economist at various brokerage firms. During this time, she also appeared in newspapers and on television channels as an economic commentator. She later completed her master's degree in English Economics at Marmara University. In 2016, Demircioğlu joined Ziraat Portföy as an economist, focusing on risk management, while also finishing a master's degree in Economics and Finance at Boğaziçi University. In 2019, Demircioğlu became part of the Param Group as an economist, later taking on roles as Treasury Director and Deputy General Manager. In August 2021, she assumed the position of CEO at Turk Finansman A.Ş., leading the introduction of the “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL) system to Turkey under the Kredim brand. Since August 2022, she has also served as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Param Group, further expanding her scope of responsibilities. In 2024, Dr. Demircioğlu completed her doctoral program in Finance and Banking at Medipol University, earning her PhD.
