Hakan Karamanlı graduated from Bilkent University, Department of Computer Engineering in 1992 and began his professional career the same year as a Software Specialist at Türkiye İş Bankası. In 1995, he joined Anadolu Group as a Systems Analyst. In 1997, he moved to Garanti Bank, where he held several senior positions including Systems Specialist, Manager of Open Systems, Head of Operations and Customer Services, and Head of Platform and Application Management.
In 2014, Karamanlı joined Tam Finans as Executive Vice President responsible for Operations and Information Technologies. In 2015, he was appointed Executive Vice President overseeing Credits, Intelligence, and Information Technologies.
Renowned for his leadership in technology and digital transformation, Karamanlı was recognized with the “CIO 100” award by CIO Magazine in 2016 and the “Premier 100 Technology Leadership” award by Computer World in 2017. In 2020, he was named one of Turkey’s top 100 digital leaders by Fast Company.
Since July 11, 2019, Hakan Karamanlı has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tam Finans.
