Throughout his career spanning over 19 years, Gökhan Mataracı has led technology and data-driven transformation projects and gained strategic consulting experience at some of Turkey’s leading institutions. He currently serves as a Partner at KPMG Türkiye, where he is the Innovation & Technology Consulting Leader and the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) Sector Leader.
Gökhan began his career in software development and held various roles during his nine years at Ereteam, ranging from technical specialist to Director of Solutions and Technical Sales. During this time, he built strategic partnerships with international vendors and successfully delivered numerous projects across both the public and private sectors.
Following his tenure at Ereteam, he expanded his consulting perspective through Big Four experience, leading numerous data-driven value creation projects. Later, at Akbank, he established and managed the Corporate Data Office as part of the Data and Analytics Strategy program, laying the foundation for enterprise-level data management in a large-scale organization.
Today, through the Innovation & Technology Consulting unit at KPMG, he delivers innovative solutions in areas such as data and AI governance, MarTech, digital strategy, artificial intelligence, and customer experience. He leads strategic initiatives designed to not only meet current business needs but also prepare organizations for the future. Gökhan’s approach centers on data-driven decision-making, the integration of technology into business processes, and embedding innovation into corporate culture.
Beyond the projects he leads at KPMG, Gökhan also curates industry events like the annual Analitik Rota Summit to foster knowledge sharing across the sector. Through collaborations with universities and mentorship programs, he actively contributes to the development of young talent.
A top graduate of the Mathematical Engineering Department at Yıldız Technical University, Gökhan is recognized for his expertise in executive leadership, program and project management, team leadership, and technological vision.
